Nooks and Instantly integration

Instantly sends the email and Nooks makes the calls, usually to the same list. We connect them so a lead reaching the call step is dialed in Nooks, and the outcome — a conversation, a voicemail dropped, or no answer — is written back to the lead in Instantly. It is a one-time setup by our team, not a monthly middleware subscription.

Why teams call their Instantly leads with Nooks

Instantly is built around sending capacity: around 30 campaign emails per account per day, warm-up running underneath, accounts added as volume grows. That produces a steady stream of leads who have seen an email and not replied — the exact list worth calling. Nooks is how teams call it, dialing between two and five prospects at a time and connecting the rep only when a real person picks up.

Left unconnected, the two run on separate lists. Reps dial an export that is a day old, calls are never logged against the lead, and the sequence keeps emailing someone who said no on the phone yesterday. Connecting them means the call list builds itself from the campaign and every outcome lands back on the lead.

  • Outbound teams calling their non-repliersThe call list is whoever reached the call step, not a manual export.
  • Agencies running campaigns for several clientsEach client’s leads stay in their own campaign and their own Nooks list.
  • Teams testing call-then-email orderBecause both touches sit on one lead, you can see which order actually books meetings.

Where Nooks and Instantly.ai setups usually go wrong

No voicemail set means No Answer

When a rep has no recorded voicemail, Nooks logs the call as No Answer and moves on. We check every rep has one before go-live, so skipped voicemails become messages instead of silence in your reporting.

Sequences that keep sending

A prospect who has just spoken to a rep should not get tomorrow’s email. Outcomes that mean stop, stop the sequence, and we test that first.

Dispositions that mean something

Parallel dialing produces a lot of outcomes quickly. We map Nooks dispositions to a small set of lead statuses you will actually report on, rather than copying the list across.

The two-second rule

When more than one person answers, anyone not connected to a rep within two seconds of their greeting counts as abandoned on telemarketing calls. We keep the logging honest; the line count and dial settings stay with you and your counsel.

Questions about Nooks and Instantly.ai

Can Nooks dial leads from an Instantly campaign?

Yes. When a lead reaches the call step, it is added to the right rep’s Nooks list, so the call list is built from the campaign rather than exported by hand.

What happens when Nooks reaches a voicemail?

If the rep has a recorded voicemail set, Nooks leaves it and we log it on the lead as a message left. If not, Nooks logs the call as No Answer, which is why we check every rep has one.

Does the Instantly sequence stop after a call?

When the outcome says it should. A booked meeting or a clear no stops the sequence for that lead; a no answer leaves it running.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. You pay once for the setup. Unlike Zapier, Make and similar middleware subscriptions, there is no monthly or per-task charge from us. Your Instantly and Nooks plans are unchanged.
