The call step has to close
If the task stays open after the call, the sequence stalls and the lead sits there. Every disposition marks the step done, including the ones where nobody answered.
Integration · Nooks to lemlist
lemlist sequences already have call steps in them. They just sit there as tasks nobody works through. We connect lemlist to Nooks so every lead that reaches a call step lands in the right rep’s dial list, gets called in parallel, and comes back with an outcome on the lead. It is a one-time setup by our team, not a monthly middleware subscription.

lemlist runs multichannel sequences — email, LinkedIn and calls — and the email side takes care of itself. The call step is the one that quietly fails. It creates a task, the task joins a list of other tasks, and a rep dialing one number at a time gets through a fraction of them before the sequence has moved everyone on to the next email. The step is in the plan and not in the day.
Nooks changes the arithmetic. It dials between two and five prospects at once and connects the rep only when a real person answers, so a call block covers the whole step instead of the top of it. Connecting the two means the dial list is built from the sequence rather than a morning export, and every outcome lands back on the lead so lemlist knows whether to keep emailing.

We are not a middleware. We plan the connection, set it up, test it on your calls and hand it over.
Where a small connector layer is the most reliable route, we say so in your written scope, set it up in your own account and choose the option with the lowest running cost.
If the task stays open after the call, the sequence stalls and the lead sits there. Every disposition marks the step done, including the ones where nobody answered.
When a rep has no recorded voicemail, Nooks logs the call as No Answer and moves on. We check every rep has one, so a skipped voicemail becomes a message left rather than silence on the lead.
A multichannel sequence can email and call the same person the same morning. We agree the spacing, so the call arrives as a follow-up rather than a coincidence.
Parallel dialing produces outcomes fast. We map Nooks dispositions to a short set of lead statuses you will actually report on, rather than copying the whole list across.

We push test leads to the call step, take and miss the calls ourselves, and check every status, note, closed task and stopped sequence.

Yes. When a lead reaches a call step, it is added to the right rep’s Nooks list, and the outcome closes the step back in lemlist.
If the rep has a recorded voicemail set, Nooks leaves it and we log it on the lead as a message left. If not, Nooks logs No Answer, which is why we check every rep has one before go-live.
When the outcome says it should. A booked meeting or a clear no stops the sequence for that lead; a no answer closes the step and lets the sequence carry on.
No. You pay once for the setup. Unlike Zapier, Make and similar middleware subscriptions, there is no monthly or per-task charge from us. Your lemlist and Nooks plans are unchanged.
