A VICIdial floor can record thousands of calls a day. Most are short: no answer, voicemail, a quick "not interested". If all of that goes into Gong, the library fills with noise and managers stop using it.
So the first decision is the filter: a minimum talk time and the dispositions that count, such as a sale, an appointment or a long objection call. Everything that passes goes to Gong with the agent and campaign attached, so scorecards and trackers mean something. Because VICIdial runs on your own server, we also agree how recordings leave it securely.

Questions about VICIdial and Gong
Does Gong support VICIdial?
Not out of the box. Gong can accept calls from other systems through its API, so we send VICIdial recordings in that way.
Do recordings have to leave our server?
Only the ones that pass the filter are sent to Gong, which needs them to transcribe and analyse. We agree the method with you.
Is there a monthly fee?
Not from us. You pay once for the setup.
