Unique fields reject silently
A unique field blocks a duplicate on imports, the API and integrations alike. We check the caller against those fields before writing, so a repeat caller updates the record that exists instead of vanishing.
Integration · VICIdial to Zoho CRM
VICIdial runs on your own server and Zoho CRM runs your process. We connect them so every disposition lands on the right lead or contact, recordings stay on your server, and the write does not get quietly rejected by a Blueprint or a unique field. It is a one-time setup by our team, not a monthly middleware subscription.

Both halves are reasonable on their own. VICIdial is self-hosted and free of per-seat billing, which is why high-volume teams run it, and Zoho CRM is where the process lives — Blueprint enforcing how a deal moves from stage to stage, workflow rules firing the actions, unique fields keeping the database clean.
Put them together carelessly and Zoho does exactly what it was configured to do: refuse. A unique field blocks a second lead with the same phone number, and that block applies to imports, the API and integrations too, so the dialer’s new lead silently never arrives. A Blueprint defines the only legal transitions out of a stage, so an integration that writes a stage directly is rejected or, worse, skips the process everyone else has to follow. Most of this build is making the dialer speak Zoho’s language rather than shouting over it.

Blueprint defines which moves out of a stage are legal. We map dispositions to transitions Blueprint allows, rather than writing the stage field directly and having the process bypassed or the write refused.
The same person can exist as a lead before conversion and as a contact after it. We match in that order, so a call after conversion lands on the contact and its deal.
Every VICIdial agent is matched to a Zoho user whose profile and role allow the write, so activity reports credit the right person and nothing fails on permissions.
Which campaigns write into Zoho, which dispositions map to which Blueprint transitions, and which are logged only. You get a written scope with a fixed one-time price.

We place test calls on your own server, disposition them ourselves, and check every lead, contact, deal, task and Blueprint transition — including the duplicates that should not create a second record.

Yes, and the part worth getting right is duplicates. Zoho’s unique fields block a second record with the same value through the API as well as the interface, so we match against them before writing rather than losing the lead.
Yes. We map dispositions to the transitions Blueprint allows, so records move through the process instead of jumping stages or being rejected.
No. Agents stay on the VICIdial agent screen and disposition as they do now. The lead, call record and task update in Zoho behind them.
No. You pay once for the setup. Unlike Zapier, Make and similar middleware subscriptions, there is no monthly or per-task charge from us. Your Zoho plan and your own VICIdial server are unchanged.
