Integration · Zoom Phone to lemlist

Zoom Phone and lemlist integration

You put a phone number in the signature of a few thousand emails, and some people ring it. On Zoom Phone that call arrives as a stranger in a queue. We connect the two so whoever answers knows this person is mid-sequence, the call lands on their lead, and the emails stop before the next one goes out. It is a one-time setup by our team, not a monthly middleware subscription.

The callback nobody has planned for

Cold email is built around replies. Everything in lemlist — lemwarm, the daily limit per sending address, the sequence logic — is arranged so a prospect answers in writing, and when they do the sequence knows to stop. The prospect who picks up the phone instead is invisible to all of it. They ring the number in the signature, reach whoever is in the Zoom Phone queue, have a perfectly good conversation, and then receive the next scheduled email two days later as if nothing happened.

Connecting Zoom Phone to lemlist fixes the blind spot from both ends. The person answering sees who is calling and which campaign they are in, so the conversation starts from the right place. And the call itself counts as contact: the lead is updated, the sequence pauses or stops according to the rule you set, and nobody is emailed a first-touch line the day after they spoke to you.

  • Teams that publish a number in their signatureCallbacks are recognised instead of answered cold.
  • Small teams sharing an inbound queueWhoever answers has the campaign context, not just a number on screen.
  • Agencies running campaigns for clientsEach client’s number and campaign stay matched to each other.

A one-time setup, not a monthly middleware bill

We are not a middleware. We plan the connection, set it up, test it on your calls and hand it over.

Where Zoom Phone and lemlist setups usually go wrong

Matching a caller to a lead

Cold lists carry switchboard numbers and mobiles that belong to several people. We match on the numbers in the campaign and leave anything ambiguous as an unmatched call rather than guessing.

Stop, or only pause

A call is not always the end. We agree whether a conversation stops the sequence or pauses it for review, and which outcomes mean which.

Out of hours is not Sunday

Zoom Phone routes business, closed and holiday hours differently. Calls outside business hours are logged as such, and the follow-up task is dated to the next working day.

Access without full Zoom admin

Zoom Phone privileges can be granted through role management without full account admin, so the rest of your Zoom account stays untouched.

How we set it up

  1. 1

    Agree what connects

Which numbers and campaigns are in scope, what the answerer should see, and whether a call pauses or stops the sequence. You get a written scope with a fixed one-time price.

  2. 2

    Access for the setup

Zoom Phone privileges through role management, and team access to lemlist. Nothing for your team to install.

  3. 3

    We connect and test

We call in as a sequenced prospect and as a stranger, inside and outside business hours, and check every match, status, paused sequence and task.

  4. 4

    Handover

A short document of what is connected. It runs in your own accounts, with no monthly fee from us.

Questions about Zoom Phone and lemlist

Will a callback stop the lemlist sequence?

That is the point of the connection. A conversation with a sequenced prospect pauses or stops their sequence, by whichever rule you choose, so nobody gets the next cold email after speaking to you.

Can whoever answers see which campaign the caller is in?

Yes. On an inbound call we look the number up against the campaigns in scope and show the lead, the campaign and the last step sent.

What happens if the caller is not in lemlist?

The call is logged as unmatched. We do not create a lead from an inbound number, because cold lists are full of switchboards that belong to nobody in particular.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. You pay once for the setup. Unlike Zapier, Make and similar middleware subscriptions, there is no monthly or per-task charge from us. Your lemlist and Zoom Phone plans are unchanged.

Rather talk it through?

Thirty minutes on how your team uses Zoom Phone and lemlist. You leave knowing what we would build and what it would cost.
