Integration · Dialpad to lemlist

Dialpad and lemlist integration

Your campaigns are split by region and so is your phone system. We connect lemlist to Dialpad so a lead is called from the right office’s numbers by the right team, and the call lands on the lead whoever in the department picked it up. It is a one-time setup by our team, not a monthly middleware subscription.

Regions are the thing both tools already understand

lemlist campaigns get split by region almost immediately — different copy, different sending windows, different language. Dialpad is organised the same way without anyone planning it: offices, departments that share calls across a group, and admin rights in six flavours down to an Office Admin who controls a single office. The two structures line up better than most pairs do.

What is missing is the wire between them. A lead reaching a call step in the DACH campaign should be dialled by the Berlin team from a German number, not by whoever is free in London from a UK one, and the answer should land back on the lead either way. Connecting them means the region a campaign already knows about decides who calls and from where, and the sequence finds out what happened.

  • Teams selling into several countriesEach region calls from its own numbers and its own people.
  • Shared inbound departmentsA callback answered by anyone still reaches the lead.
  • Distributed sales teamsOffice Admins manage their own patch without touching the rest.

What we connect between Dialpad and lemlist

A typical setup. We adjust each line to how your team uses Dialpad and lemlist.

When this happensThis is what you get
A lead reaches a call stepRouted to the office and team for that campaign’s region
A call endsA call activity on the lemlist lead, with the person who spoke
The call outcomeThe lead status you choose, and the call step marked done
An inbound call from a lead in a campaignMatched to that lead, with the campaign shown to whoever answers
A conversation with a sequenced leadThe sequence paused or stopped, by the rule you set
A missed callLogged on the lead with a follow-up task for the region’s team

A one-time setup, not a monthly middleware bill

We are not a middleware. We plan the connection, set it up, test it on your calls and hand it over.

Web Repay integration setup Middleware subscription
What you pay One-time setup, from $100 (one-off) A monthly plan, often priced by tasks or operations
As call volume grows The same price, no per-task charges Costs rise with every call that syncs
Who builds and tests it We do, on your own Dialpad calls Your team builds and maintains every step
Where it runs In your own Dialpad and lemlist accounts, documented Inside the middleware vendor’s platform
When something changes Additional support as needed, when you request it Your team fixes the broken steps

Where a small connector layer is the most reliable route, we say so in your written scope, set it up in your own account and choose the option with the lowest running cost.

Where Dialpad and lemlist setups usually go wrong

The campaign decides the office

A regional campaign should not be dialled from another country’s numbers. We map campaign to office and number, so the caller ID matches the market.

Departments have no single owner

A Dialpad department shares calls across a group, so there is no obvious person to attach a task to. We agree whether it is whoever answered or the lead owner.

The call step has to close

If the task stays open after the call the sequence stalls. Every outcome closes it, including the ones where nobody answered.

Contact Centers are licensed separately

Dialpad Contact Centers need a Sell or Support licence and each has one routing type. Worth confirming before the design assumes routing you are not licensed for.

How we set it up

  1. 1

    Agree what connects

Which campaigns map to which offices and numbers, who owns a shared call, and whether a conversation pauses or stops the sequence. You get a written scope with a fixed one-time price.

  2. 2

    Access for the setup

Team access to lemlist and Dialpad admin at the narrowest of its six permission types that covers the work — often Office Admin per region.

  3. 3

    We connect and test

We push leads through call steps in two regions, answer from different department members, call in as a sequenced lead, and check every activity, status, closed step and task.

  4. 4

    Handover

A short document of what is connected, including the campaign-to-office map. It runs in your own accounts, with no monthly fee from us.

Questions about Dialpad and lemlist

Can each lemlist campaign call from a different Dialpad number?

Yes. Campaigns are mapped to offices and their numbers, so a regional campaign is dialled from a number that matches the market.

Who is the call logged to when a department answers?

Whoever actually spoke is recorded on the lead. Whether the follow-up task goes to them or to the lead owner is a rule we agree during scoping.

Will a callback pause the sequence?

When the outcome says it should. A conversation with a sequenced lead pauses or stops their sequence by whichever rule you choose.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. You pay once for the setup. Unlike Zapier, Make and similar middleware subscriptions, there is no monthly or per-task charge from us. Your lemlist and Dialpad plans are unchanged.

Rather talk it through?
