Who connects RingCentral and GoHighLevel

RingCentral tends to be the phone system of businesses with a real office behind them: several locations, front desks, departments and call queues. GoHighLevel is where the same business runs its marketing and follow-up. The trouble is that most calls come in through a queue or a shared line, so nobody can tell afterwards who spoke to the lead, or whether anyone did.

Connecting RingCentral to GHL puts every one of those calls on the contact, including which extension picked up. Managers can see what happened to each lead from the ad click to the conversation, and your automations can react to calls the same way they already react to forms.

  • Multi-location businessesCalls to each location’s number land in the right GHL sub-account or pipeline, with the location kept on the contact.
  • Front desks and call queuesCalls answered from a shared queue are still logged against the person who took them.
  • Teams that live in textsRingCentral text conversations sit next to the call history, so nobody asks a customer to repeat themselves.

A one-time setup, not a monthly middleware bill

We are not a middleware. We plan the connection, set it up, test it on your calls and hand it over.

Where RingCentral and GoHighLevel setups usually go wrong

Calls that pass through several people

A call can ring a queue, get transferred and end with someone else. We log it once, against the person who finished the call, so the contact does not show three calls for one conversation.

Extensions matched to GHL users

RingCentral extensions and GHL users are set up separately. We match every extension that talks to customers, so each call has the right owner.

Main numbers and direct lines

The same customer may call the main number one day and a rep’s direct line the next. We match on the caller, not the number they dialled, so it is still one contact.

Internal calls kept out

Calls between colleagues are not customer activity. We leave them out of GHL so contact timelines stay clean.

Questions about RingCentral and GoHighLevel

Do calls from call queues get logged?

Yes. Calls answered from a RingCentral queue are logged on the GHL contact against the person who picked up, and we keep the queue name so you can still report by queue.

Can each location go to its own GHL sub-account?

Yes. We route each RingCentral number or location to the sub-account it belongs to, so calls never mix between locations or clients.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. You pay once for the setup. Unlike Zapier, Make and similar middleware subscriptions, there is no monthly or per-task charge from us.

Will our team need to change anything in RingCentral?

No. Calls are answered and made exactly as they are today. The connection works in the background.

Rather talk it through?

Thirty minutes on how your team uses RingCentral and GoHighLevel. You leave knowing what we would build and what it would cost.
