Integration · Aircall to Close CRM

Aircall and Close CRM integration

Aircall’s app directory covers HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and around forty other CRMs. Close is not one of them. We build the connection instead, so every Aircall call lands on the right Close lead with its recording, and outcomes keep opportunities moving. It is a one-time setup by our team, not a monthly middleware subscription.

Why Close teams end up on Aircall

Close has calling built in, so a team that only makes sales calls rarely needs anything else. Aircall arrives when the phone has to do more: a support line with an IVR, local numbers in several countries, shared teams and routing rules, or a business that standardised on Aircall before it chose Close. Aircall handles all of that well, and its Power Dialer runs lists of up to 1,000 numbers for the outbound side.

The gap is that Aircall publishes apps for the CRMs most of its customers use, and Close is not one of them. Without a connection, reps work the phone in one tab and the lead in another, calls are logged by hand or not at all, and Close smart views stop reflecting what the team actually did. We build the link so the phone stays on Aircall and the record of it lives in Close.

  • Teams with support and sales on one phone systemSales calls reach Close without moving support off Aircall.
  • International teamsLocal Aircall numbers in several countries, with every call on the Close lead.
  • Outbound teams using the Power DialerLists are built from Close smart views, and the results come back to the same leads.

A one-time setup, not a monthly middleware bill

We are not a middleware. We plan the connection, set it up, test it on your calls and hand it over.

Where Aircall and Close CRM setups usually go wrong

Leads with several contacts

In Close, a lead is a company with contacts inside it. We match the caller to the right contact and log the call on their lead, rather than creating a duplicate company.

Numbers must be E.164

Aircall’s Power Dialer rejects numbers without a country code, which is the usual reason an import fails. We format and deduplicate on the way out of Close, inside the 1,000-number list limit.

Support calls kept out of sales

Not every Aircall number is a sales line. We agree which numbers and teams write into Close, so the support queue does not fill your pipeline.

Reps matched to Close users

Every Aircall user is matched to a Close user, so activity reporting counts the right person and tasks reach the right inbox.

How we set it up

  1. 1

    Agree what connects

Which Aircall numbers and teams connect, what outcomes change in Close, and whether smart views feed the Power Dialer. You get a written scope with a fixed one-time price.

  2. 2

    Access for the setup

Admin in Aircall — Owner rights stay with you — and a Super User invite in Close. Nothing for your team to install.

  3. 3

    We connect and test

We make and miss test calls on each number and check every lead, contact, opportunity, task and recording link in Close.

  4. 4

    Handover

A short document of what is connected. It runs in your own accounts, with no monthly fee from us.

Questions about Aircall and Close CRM

Does Aircall have a Close CRM integration?

Not in its own app directory. Aircall publishes apps for HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho and around forty other CRMs, but not Close, which is why the connection has to be built.

Close has calling built in. Why use Aircall?

Usually because the phone serves more than sales — an IVR, a support line, numbers in several countries — or because Aircall was in place first. Connecting it means sales still sees every call in Close.

Can we dial a Close smart view with Aircall’s Power Dialer?

Yes. We build the list from the smart view you choose, formatted to E.164 and deduplicated, within Aircall’s 1,000-number limit per list.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. You pay once for the setup. Unlike Zapier, Make and similar middleware subscriptions, there is no monthly or per-task charge from us. Your Close and Aircall plans are unchanged.
